Shipping policy

 


Your order will be shipped within 3-5 working days. Please note that you will be responsible for any potential custom fees. Delays due to customs may occur on international orders from outside the EU. Feel free to email hello@woollentwine.com regarding any individual questions or concerns.

options

Domestic orders are shipped tracked and insured via UPS or DHL (see prices below). 

For international orders, we currently offer several shipping options: Economy (not insured), Standard and some regions, UPS Express. Please note that we can not be held responsible for any parcels that might go missing if you chose the economy option without insurance at checkout. A refund or replacement is not possible in this case. So if you want to be sure, please consider choosing the insured option.

The economy shipping is limited in weight and size, so we can only ship small orders up until 500g with this method. That equals about five skeins of yarn (or four plates of unspun). Orders over that total weight will automatically be shipped tracked + insured.

 All orders are packed with care and high hygiene-standards. Shipments are processed by Deutsche Post (tracked + without insurance), UPS or DHL.

 

UK shipping 

We are able to ship to the UK again without an order minimum! Please note that customers are responsible for any import tax or custom fees that might be due upon delivery. Shipping rates are covered in the section below.



US shipping 

We can still ship to the US! For your convenience, you can pay duties and taxes at checkout already so there are no unforeseen charges when your parcel arrives. We use UPS to ship all your orders which has proven to be fast and reliable in the past so we are happy to offer this solution.
From August 2025 on, the new tariffs apply on all US orders. Since we are based in the EU, there will be a charge of import tax and duties of around 15% for every order.

Economy shipping to the US will be paused until March 2026 at least since the recent changes to the customs regulations would case any order very high flat fee regardless of the order value. I'm deeply sorry for this and will keep monitoring new options.
