No, the range of shades will be a typical representation of my botanically dyed palette but not designed to be knitted into a fade.

Due to the general nature of plant dyes and my personal way of combining them, there will be a cohesive palette of colours that should be easy to combine with each other.

Other than that, you'll have to trust me a little with this :)

All colourways in all yarn tiers will be solids/tonals. No heavily speckled or multicoloured colourways.

The sock set tier might also contains only solids/tonals.

The fibre option will have a slightly variegated effect but no speckles or wild multicolours either (fibres don't dye solidly for me so they will all have a bit of variation).

The deposit for the "save a slot" preorder is 20€ regardless of the tier. That is the amount due upon preorder at June 3rd.

On 31st of August, we'll send out the payment links for the full amount for your order where the deposit will already be deducted. At that point, you'll also be able to also get the "add on skeins"- the discounted rate for the add ons will only be available when you check out via the payment link only so make sure to enter the shop through the link.

Payments are due until 15th of September and if you are eligible for the new "Pay in instalments" feature by PayPal, you can use that to split up your payments even further.

There are plenty of beautiful inspirational patterns out there for what can be done lots of smaller amounts of different colours of yarn.

So each calendar will come with a curated list of inspirational projects that I will select carefully.

Please note there is no pattern included in the countdown calendar boxes.

Yes, that is totally possible. You can add full skeins in the undyed shades available from each bases at a reduced price.

Available shades on Ovis Sock:
- Undyed Ecru
- Undyed Grey

However, please note that you can not add any skeins from current stock since advents are preorders and ship separately from in-stock orders.

Undyed skeins can be added at a discount. Ovis Sock Add on Skeins are 28€ each, Heirloom 4ply is 27€ per skein.

Unfortunately not - to keep shipping and logistics doable, yarn from other collections and current stock can not be ordered with the calendars.

You can order the dedicated countdown calendar add-on skeins with your chosen tier, but stock yarn needs to be ordered separately. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I believe that part of the fun of these kind of calendars is the surprising factor, so I'm not sharing too many details.

However, I know it can be overwhelming to receive a ton of items you won't really use. This is why I decided to keep the goodies to a minimum and not only add physical goods but also some non-material ones that come directly from myself to you. I hope you'll love it!

Please note that production starts right after the preorder is placed and each calendar is made to order.

This means that you receive a personalized product that can not be returned.

I will keep the preorders open until I reach my production capacity. Due to the fact that this is a very labour intensive product I'm putting lots of love and care into, I have to limit it to a manageable amount.

Yes! I ship with UPS and am able to also collect the duties caused by the new reciprocal tariffs at checkout.

You will be able to pay everything up front so there are no hidden charges or additional import cost upon arrival of the parcel.

The fees will be approximately 15% of the value of goods. If you would like an estimate of the duties for your order prior to the launch, don't hesitate to reach out at hello@woollentwine.com and I'll happily help you calculate the exact amount.

In the case of changes to the current tariff situation happen during the production timeframe, we'll make sure to monitor and react accordingly. In case of overpaid import duties, we'll refund those according to the current legal situation and trading agreement. We'll sort this for you, no worries.
