virtual yulemarket
For the first time, we will not only have our own botanically dyed yarn but curated a little selection of carefully made products from other small businesses.
Being perfect for gifting to a loved one or yourselves, the virtual yulemarket will feature a lot of fun things by awesome small businesses and makers whos work I personally adore so much.
Let me showcase them below for a better overview:
ceramic mugs and candleholders
I absolutely adore handmade pottery pieces and it felt natural to add some to the yulemarket.
We will have beautfiul mugs and candle holders from the UK based potter Charlotte Manser and I could not be happier with them. They are made out of stoneware and are glazed in a timeless, warm beige shade.
The mugs hold a big cup of tea or coffee and the candle holders have a standard opening of around 2-2,5cm.
Handmade cups: 33,00€
Candle Holders: 15,00€
botanically dyed gift wrap
I teamed up with my friend Viola of von.flowers whom I got to know over the shared love for natural dyes.
We botanically dyed some organic cotton pieces to be used as a furoshiki-inspired gift wrap that - if cared for properly - can be reused for decades.
These come in sets of three in two different colour options and I could not be happier with them. A product born out of friendship and shared passion!
Naturally dyed furoshiki (set of three, each 40x40cm): 24,00€
stitch markers
Following the popular request to make my stitch markers available for single purchase, I decided to make a small amount of some sweet, festive motives for you to maybe gift to a loved one or yourself.
These are lovingly handmade by me and there are three different sets available.
Set of three markers in different designs: 16,00€ each.
organic herbal teas
Speaking of hot beverages, there will also be some special tea blends available at our yulemarket.
Sophia of haerb creates the most wonderful tea blends that focus on the natural properties of local herbs. All her tea blends are organic and created locally here in Hamburg.
haerb "cold call"
minty, herbal - 12,00€
haerb "sleepy chai"
spicy, sweet - 14,00€
haerb "slow and still"
mild, calming - 8,00€
linen bento bags
Handsewn from 100% eco-certified linen, we got some bento bags in three lovely colours. They are perfect to take your lunch to work or even have your knitting in it since there are no zippers that could snag on yarn!
They are available in a natural, unbleached linen shade, a warm caramel-y brown and a sweet beige and ecru coloured gingham.
Linen Bento bags: 31,00€
natural beeswax candles
At the studio, I burn a lot of beeswax candles and I love the warmth and coziness they bring! So I wanted to bring some of that to you.
Hand-pulled in the UK from 100% natural beeswax without additives, we are offering three sizes of natural beeswax candles, sold in sets of two.
Regular large: 13,00€
Regular small: 8,00€
Twisted: 10,00€
wool waste dryer balls
Some weeks ago I was thinking about what to do with some waste material I got from one of my mills that can not be spun into yarn.
So I decided to make dryer balls from them - they are 100% undyed wool and can also be scented with essential oils and then kept in your drawers for moth protection.
A truly sustainable product, using up waste that would else be thrown out.
Dryer balls, set of three in a little linen bag: 12,00€
wooden ornaments
These are the perfect stocking fillers! Handmade in Finland from wood and available in three colours, anyone should be able to find their favourite combo to decorate their homes or even some gifts with.
These even work outside of the holiday season since the motif of the little houses can also be relatively neutral. However, they do give me such a festive feel personally.
Available in sets of four ornaments coloured natural, red or black: 14,00€ per set
fairly sourced eco hot chocolates
We also sourced some absolutely glorious, single origin and fairly sourced hot chocolates. They are created by mellow chocolate in Copenhagen and are truly the best ones I ever tasted.
Rich and chocolatey while not too sweet, these are so good for a cozy evening on the couch and even better that they are consciously sourced. These are truly soul warming.
Available in classic and with gingerbread spices: 20,00€
scented candle crackers
For the ultimately cozy gift I sourced some candles from my favourite candle company. Each candle is hand poured and scented with natural oils.
For the yulemarket, we'll have The Botanical Candle Co.'s stunning candle crackers that contain three small candles in amber jars, each scented with a fresh, inviting, seasonal scent. These are just so lush and make the perfect gift for non-knitters and crafty friends alike.
38,00€ per cracker with three candles.
elegant notebooks
As a knitter and someone who constantly comes up with new ideas, I take notes of everything everywhere. So why not elevate that with an incredibly well made notebook?
Sourced via Kinshipped, a high quality stationary store in the UK, we got two designs of notebooks and I'm so happy I managed because the brand just stopped shipping to the EU so they are extra special and exclusive now. A real treat!
Grid or Gingham design - 15,00€ each
crafty notepad
I kind of want to gift one of these to all of my knitting friends. Illustrated carefully by a local illustrator living in the countryside in western Germany.
These notepads feature a little illustration of yarn and knitting tools and is small enough to fit any project bag. Perfect for gifting to your crafting friends!
Knitting-themed notepads: 4,00€
